Hi there!

So glad you could join us. First a little about us and what we are trying to do. The ArTastics are an international consortium of eight photographers who have come together to build a community of photography enthusiasts. You can read more about us from the top menu. We all came together on the social media app Vero and it is the best place to engage with us. We like it because there are no pulse scores or explore pages, so no spamming and bots. Just true interactions with like-minded creatives.

We are trying to build a genuine community of photography enthusiasts without any of the restrictions normally found on social media and commercial platforms. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, semi-pro or pro photographer, we want this to be a place for you to share your experiences, tips and tricks with a wide community. We are mostly outdoor photographers, but we welcome all genres here. Fine art, digital art, product, portrait, macro, architecture. Whatever. We want to learn and inspire each other. The way it should be.

How does it work?

The main idea at the moment is the Forum. Anyone can post comments, opinions, tutorials, photos, videos etc on equipment, software, locations, the business, photography new, social media ... whatever we want! We encourage you to share the posts you like on Vero and encourage your following to engage with the Forum. The more you all contribute, the more useful this becomes. As always, be respectful. No inappropriate language or bullying. No spam. No adverts or lazy self promotion. Respect each other's opinion and copyright. We will moderate posts and block contributors if necessary.

English is the dominant language on social media, so you will have a bigger audience if you can use it. Otherwise, use your native language and be comfortable. Please note that Google Translate on your browser does not work in the Forum app.

From a technical point of view, the Forum is new to us, so we are fiddling with it a bit. The Forum application is also new to our provider, Wix. The number of posts and views on the main tiles is wrong. Just click on the main sections to see the content in each.
